From Brück and Sohn (Printers in Meissen, Germany, 1793-2018) a charming Advent Calendar - Holy Night (Heilige Nacht) Nativity Scene. This delightful advent calendar is 10" x 15".
This is a special Advent Calendar. The window for Day #20 is under the windows for Days #18 and #19. You will find there as well a window for Day #26 - St. Stephen's Day, a public holiday in Germany - a quiet day spent with family and friends.
As described by Brück and Sohn - The calendar represents the stable of the Holy Night according to biblical history. A stable in the country, windswept, poor, the shepherds with their sheep near. What happened in the Christmas story is shown day-by-day behind the windows. The Advent Calendar windows have 3 levels. Some pictures are even translucent which you can enjoy when you hold the calendar up against the light.

After celebrating their anniversary in October 2018 of 225 years, the 7th generation, Annette and Helmut Brück, are now retired and have closed their doors. An era has come to an end.
The Brücks plan to explore the history of their company and offer a small museum and postcard archive which are preserved in Meissen and which is open to the public by appointment.
My Growing Traditions has scavenged where we could and replenished our inventory in hopes of being able to make them available to you as long as possible.
