Wendt and Kühn Girl with Marsh Marigold on a Mound with Meissen Porcelain Dish

There are special instructions for opening the Girl with Marsh Marigold...

The Blossom Child on a Mound is firmly screwed to the cardboard box.
Please follow these instructions to free it from its packaging.
- First remove the porcelain dish from its recess and set it aside.
- Pull the cardboard insert with the Blossom Child attached out of the box.
- Loosen the screw on the underside of the cardboard by carefully turning the knurled thumb screw in counter-clockwise direction, making certain you have a firm hold of the figurine.

"When the finest craftsmanship of Wendt and Kühn is combined with the sophistication of the Meissen porcelain company, the result is something very special: A girl sitting on a mound with a marsh marigold, beside a fine porcelain dish bearing the same floral motif. The exclusivity of the set is underlined by having the year 2021 painted on the underside of the porcelain dish - right under the world-famous crossed blue swords of Meissen porcelain. Wendt and Kühn's plan is to add a new motif to this series every year." - W&K

This seated Girl is 3-1/2" tall. The Meissen dish is 4-3/4" x 3-1/2".
