Berry Picker - Girl

Celebrate Summer with Wendt and Kühn's Girl Berry Picker

3" tall

The Berry Pickers laid the foundation for the entire Wendt and Kühn creative enterprise. Way back in 1913, two years before the company was founded, Grete Wendt entered a design competition. Her Berry Pickers won second prize. As a result, this award-winning group appeared in numerous magazines, bringing in a flood of "rush orders" and eventually giving Grete the compelling impetus to officially establish the "M. Wendt & M. Kühn" workshops in 1915.
