Puss in Boots

Puss in Boots

"Grete Wendt designed Puss in Boots in June 1929 and shod him in oversized boots. The curve of his tail and the feathers in his hunting cap give the figurine movement and dynamism. The painting of the feathers in his cap really strikes the eye. Modeled on a pheasant feather, its traditional pattern is painted using translucent paint." - Wendt and Kuehn
